On June 20th, 2008, Doug left our world for Heaven after a tragic car accident. We miss his smile, jokes, laugh, and debates. He is truly irreplaceable in our lives and we will forever miss him.
Doug cherished his friends and family above all. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. Most of the time, you didn't even have to ask for his help... he was just there. We are certain that he is still there for us as he watches over us from Heaven.
He exerted amazing qualities like honesty, strength, motivation, determination, and love.
Another quality of Doug's was his big heart. He was a generous man that put others before himself. His graciousness inspires many to do the same.
In the spirit of Doug's generosity, we have decided to continue Doug's legacy through a non-profit organization called: Doug Goeckner Memorial Fund. This organization will be able to keep Doug's memory alive in others by donations in the form of:
- Scholarships
- 4-H Trophies
- Special remembrance Tractor Pull Trophies
- Benefits supporting other good causes
Help us to keep Doug's memory alive by passing along his kindness to others.
To clarify where the donations will go: They will not go to the family.
They will be used towards donations like the ones listed above.
